Data backup and recovery
The files, mail and databases are the part of the business you cannot retype. We design a backup that matches how you work, and we restore from it when a disk, an account or a mistake removes the original.
Ways to keep the copy
There is no single correct backup. We use the option that fits the amount of data, the budget and how quickly you would need to be working again:
- Cloud backup, for a copy that is not in the same room as the server
- On-site backup, for a fast local restore
- Tape, where you want a copy that can sit offline
What we need from you
Which files would stop the business if they vanished, and how many hours of work you can bear to redo. From that we propose a plan and a price before we start copying anything.
Moving or backing up a large set of files often takes two to four hours. That time is part of the job, not a surprise added at the end. The call-out rules for this are on the prices page.
